Indeed 49 Deaths in Shipping Disaster in Congo. In a shipping disaster in the northwest of the Democratic Republic of Congo, at least 49 people were killed. The ship capsized on the river Congo. It is unclear how that could happen.

 

According to the vice-governor of the province, it is not yet clear how many people were on the ship and how many people survived the accident.
