A man suspected of being under the influence of drugs has shot and killed three youths in Thailand after a traffic accident. That writes the Bangkok Post newspaper, citing police sources.
The incident took place on Tuesday evening in Krabi province, in the south of the country. The suspect collided with a motorcycle on which three 18-year-old students were riding.
When police arrived, they found the teenagers shot dead in a ditch. The motorcycle was burned, and the suspect was missing.
Police found the 42-year-old man at home on Wednesday morning. He was armed and tried to flee, they said. When the officers were finally able to arrest him, he gave conflicting information about what had happened.
Finally, he admitted to taking two pills of methamphetamine on Monday. The suspect was arrested.
