South Korea: North Korea Launches Ballistic Missile Again

The South Korean military said that North Korea is believed to have fired a ballistic missile toward the sea from its east coast. At least 13 of these missiles this year.

It is unclear what this missile is and what range it had. However, the South Koreans think the missile could travel a long distance, and it could even be an intercontinental missile.

The United States and South Korea previously warned that North Korea might be preparing to test a full-range ballistic missile with intercontinental range for the first time since 2017, possibly under the guise of launching a satellite. The Pyongyang regime tested “reconnaissance satellites” after previous launches.

The many North Korean missile tests have been condemned by the US, South Korea and Japan, among others. North Korea is prohibited from developing ballistic missiles under UN Security Council resolutions.
