The number of coronavirus deaths in the United Kingdom rose from 32 to 104 on Wednesday, said the country’s National Health Service (NHS).
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the UK is now 2,626.
Ninety-nine patients diagnosed with Covid-19 died in England. The last 32 patients who died were between 59 and 94 years old and had underlying health problems, the NHS said.
Nearly a third of new deaths in England (10) occurred in hospitals in London, the most affected part of the United Kingdom.
