At least twelve people have been killed by adulterated cocaine in a suburb of the Argentine capital Buenos Aires.
The authorities report that more than fifty others had to be hospitalized after using the contaminated drugs. They warn not to use drugs that have been purchased in the past 24 hours.
Ten suspects have now been arrested who may have sold the impure drugs.
It is still unknown what substance the cocaine was mixed with. Hard drugs are cut to reduce costs and increase profits.
