The number of new corona infections detected in the last 24 hours in Germany rose again on Friday morning.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German equivalent of the RIVM, reports 23,542 new infections.
That is nearly 2,000 more than the day before when 21,866 cases were reported.
This brings the total number of infections in Germany to 751,095. It is the fourth day in a row that the number of new infections has risen again.
In the last 24 hours, an additional 218 people in Germany died from Covid-19. This brings the total death toll in the Federal Republic to 12,200.
