Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, has given her friend Michelle Obama a helping hand by participating in the When All Women Vote initiative, co-sponsored by Obama.
Through a virtual conversation, Meghan urged Americans, and women, in particular, to go to the polls on Nov. 3, Entertainment Tonight reports.
“Being able to vote is something extraordinary and uniquely valuable. By voting, you honour the people who fought so hard for it in the past, and you protect the people who come after you.
Because that’s what a community is all about and what this election is all about.
We only have 75 days to go to the election, and while that seems very close, there is still a lot of work to be done,” said Meghan.
Meghan was especially concerned about women who are still unable to vote for various reasons.
“That’s just not okay, and all these voices have to be heard and counted. If we are not part of the solution, then we are part of the problem.”
