EU Wants to Hit Russia Financially and Economically for Ukraine

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, has gone into self-isolation, she announced on Twitter.

 

“I have been informed that I attended a meeting last Tuesday where a person was present who tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday.

Therefore, in accordance with the rules, I am going into self-isolation until tomorrow.”

Von der Leyen was present at the EU summit in Brussels on Thursday and Friday with the EU heads of government and heads of state, including Prime Minister Mark Rutte.

In her tweet, she writes that she was tested negative for the virus on Thursday. She will be tested again later on Monday.

On Tuesday, the German was at a meeting in Portugal, where Portuguese Prime Minister Antonio Costa was also. According to local media, it has now tested negative.
