Vietnam has donated 550,000 face masks to five European countries. The Asian country wants to contribute to their fight against the coronavirus.
The mouth masks have been handed over to the ambassadors of France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom in Hanoi, according to the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry.
Medical equipment is also said to have been donated to other countries, such as China, Cambodia and Laos.
In Vietnam, according to official figures, 245 coronation cases have been determined. The authorities have not reported any deaths.
The Vietnamese authorities asked producers last week to increase production so that 5 million face masks can be made per day.
