In Adelaide, in southern Australia, a man stole a car on Monday morning with a four-month-old baby in the back seat.
Australian media report that. The child was found and the suspect is still on the run.
The mother entered a store in Emzig, a suburb of Adelaide, and saw the thief drive away with her car and her child. The police launched a large-scale manhunt and distributed photos of the suspect from surveillance cameras.
After a hectic search of 2.5 hours, the car and baby were found nearby. The child appears to be doing well but has yet to be examined in hospital, according to television channel ABC.
The police are still searching for the perpetrator.
