The American pharmaceutical company Moderna will supply 20 million corona vaccines to the United States before the end of the year.
In the first quarter of the following year, an additional 85 million to 100 million doses will be added.
The rest of the world will have about 15 to 25 million doses in early 2021. They are produced in Switzerland. People are injected twice with the vaccine to improve its effectiveness.
Moderna reports based on the latest test results that people still have a large amount of antibodies in the body three months after the second dose.
However, the values decrease slightly over time. The results are the same in people of all age groups.
The researchers also say no “adverse events or events that stop the test” occurred.
