North Korea Fires Missiles Again

North Korea on Monday launched “several unidentified ballistic missiles,” according to the South Korean military, which kicked off annual joint military exercises with the United States on Monday.

Pyongyang fired the missiles toward the Yellow Sea, the South Korean general staff said.

The North Korean Foreign Ministry described the Korean-American maneuvers, dubbed “Freedom Shield,” as “an aggressive war exercise to heighten tensions on the Korean Peninsula.”
