The number of corona infections diagnosed during the last 24 hours in Germany has further increased to over two thousand.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI), the German equivalent of the RIVM, reported early in the morning on Thursday that a further 2,194 cases have been registered.
This means that the increase in the daily number of new infections continues, albeit at a slightly slower pace than in the previous days.
On Wednesday, 1901 new infections were reported, Tuesday 1407 and Monday 927.
Three people died from Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.
That brings the total death toll in Germany to 9371. The total number of infections in the Federal Republic has been 265,857 since Thursday.
