Taliban: Countries Ask for Help with Evacuations from Afghanistan

The jihadist organisation reports that several countries and organisations have asked the Taliban to help evacuate people from Afghanistan.

Many people still want to leave the country where the Muslim extremists have taken power.

The Taliban do not say which countries or organisations are involved. However, since this week, the jihadists have made their own blockade of the airport. They reportedly only allow people with foreign passports to pass through.

In the night from Thursday to Friday, 53 people were taken back. The United States reported that a total of 3,000 people were expelled from the country in the past 24 hours, including 350 Americans. According to NATO, 18,000 people have been evacuated from Afghanistan in the past five days.

Many people are still waiting for evacuation, according to NATO and the US. The US says it’s about 6,000 people.
