Dead Patient Lies Undetected in British Hospital for Four Days

A deceased patient has been in a hospital room in the British town of Grimsby for four days.

 

The health authorities investigate how the person could have gone undetected for so long. The relatives have been offered an apology from the hospital.

An investigation was launched into the circumstances in which a deceased patient spent four days in the emergency room of a British hospital without looking after the person. The patient should have been transferred to a morgue ago, but it is unclear why.

It is not clear what caused the patient to die. The deceased’s identity in the hospital 150 kilometres east of Manchester has not been released.
