Adele: She Wants Another Baby

Adele speaks openly about the end of her marriage but also about her new love affair and the dream of a big family.

The last ones to sit in this fairytale rose garden and perform a soul striptease were Harry and Meghan. Her scandalous interview with US talk legend Oprah Winfrey (67) not only changed the royal world. Today Adele (33) takes a seat in the hot seat. All in white, super slim and highly reflective, the singer talks about the worst years of her life.

About the divorce from husband Simon Konecki (47), with whom she is still good friends, about her panic attacks and loneliness, what it feels like to be “my worst enemy” and why she is the new album “30” her Son Angelo (9) dedicates. “I wanted him to hear me in all my depth and understand who I am and how I feel,” said the Oscar winner. Then, Oprah asks if she feels guilty.

“No, I don’t feel guilty,” replies Adele, “at most, I feel a little selfish. But I also know that I’m slowly getting closer to my goal of finding my own happiness.” It is a long process, she says. “The process of divorce. The process of being a single parent. The process of not being able to see your child every day – that wasn’t the plan I had when I became a mother,” admits Adele.

Today it is easy for her to make a public declaration of love for her new boyfriend, sports manager Rich Paul (39). “He’s hilarious. And very, very intelligent,” she enthuses. “This is my first time in a relationship where I can love myself. I can love and allow myself to be loved by someone else.”

The superstar can even imagine other children. “I’m definitely open to it. I would like to have more children,” said Adele, to join in: “But it wouldn’t be the end of the world if I didn’t get any more. I have Angelo.”
