Seven Dead in Hungary Road Accident Involving Migrant Van

On Monday evening, seven people were killed in Hungary when a vehicle rammed into a house. Four others were injured.

 

The vehicle with Serbian number plate had ten migrants on board and refused to stop for a check, according to police. The police report this, Reuters reports.

The driver saw police checking cars in the village of Morahalom, near the border with Serbia, and tried to evade the check by fleeing. Unfortunately, the vehicle ran into a house during the escape attempt and landed on its side.

The driver was injured in the crash. He was imprisoned and under investigation for human trafficking, causing a traffic accident with several deaths.
