England Puts Third Corona Vaccine into Use

British can also be vaccinated from Tuesday with the Moderna vaccine. This is the third corona vaccine to be put into use in England.

A top executive of the NHS health service spoke of a “milestone” for the vaccination program, according to the BBC.

The UK government has ordered 17 million doses of the Moderna vaccine, enough to vaccinate 8.5 million people fully. Wales and Scotland already started doing this last week. 24-year-old caregiver Elle Taylor was the first person to receive the vaccine.

Medical personnel are now also vaccinating people with the product at 21 injection sites in England. This will be used with the Pfizer / BioNTech vaccine to provide an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine for English people under the age of 30. There are also concerns in the UK about possible rare side effects.

The United Kingdom, with more than 66 million inhabitants, is the leader in vaccination in Europe. More than 32 million Britons have already had the first dose, and almost 7.7 million people have already been fully vaccinated. They have both had injections.
