The US Wants Immediate release of Hong Kong Activists

Hong Kong police arrested dozens of people on Wednesday in protests against the new security law introduced by China.

 

Police reported that at least 30 people had been arrested for violating the new law, possession of weapons and opposition to the police.

Police used water cannons to disperse protesters.

Earlier, an initial arrest was made under the new law. A man was arrested for holding a Hong Kong independence flag.
