Cloud Security Company Wiz Raises A Quarter of A Billion Dollars

The Israeli cloud security specialist Wiz has raised a capital of 250 million dollars. After the close of this Series C financing round, the company now has a valuation of six billion dollars.

The Tel Aviv-based cloud security startup plans to invest its Series C proceeds in expanded support for public environments, where more and more workloads are moving.

This applies to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Wiz is led by CEO Assaf Rappaport. The Israeli start-up, which sells directly but also increasingly indirectly, is competing against the Prisma Cloud of Palo Alto Networks, Orca Security and Lacework.
